DUSTIN YELLIN —
THE TRIPTYCH

Dustin Yellin’s The Triptych is a contemporary reimagining of medieval Christian altarpieces, inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s “Garden of Earthly Delights.” Created in 2012, this intricate artwork comprises over 50 layers of glass, paint, and collaged images embedded in resin, forming a vivid 3D narrative. The piece depicts a cosmological vision that intertwines nature, humanity, and myth, featuring a volcanic eruption, an ocean, and various civilizations. Documenting this masterpiece involved capturing the delicate details and the vast scale of Yellin’s artistic vision.
